HARNESSING THE SUN
At our communities, we focus on sustainability in multiple ways. In addition to Impact Investing business initiatives, like our Honduran coffee farm or Guatemalan plantain farm, solar panels are one great way to harness local resources to sustain our community.
At Casa de Esperanza in Zacapa, Guatemala, we’re doing just that. A local supplier installed a solar panel system in the community in November, and is working successfully. Casa de Esperanza’s Operations Manager continues to monitor the panels to make sure they’re positioned to capture as much energy as possible.

These solar panels represent our commitment to reforming orphan care sustainably, and are thankful for the resources to have these panels installed.
