NEED & IMPACT

Our three-acre farm at Baba Nyumbani produces vegetables, eggs, and milk, all of which needs to be transported for sale to local markets. Since 2018, our farmers have been utilizing the van originally purchased for transporting children and staff. Not only does this require the manual removal of the three rows of seats each time produce is transported, but, the wear and tear on the van is rapidly decreasing its value. As we continue to increase our level of excellence within our Micro Communities, as well as scale our farming efforts, we’ve identified this as a high-priority need that will impact the quality of life for both our farmers and the children and families we serve.
