Samson loves to work with his hands — whether in work or play. The 22-year-old is a member of Horizon’s Inheritance Program, where he’s honing his agricultural skills. Samson’s love for agriculture benefits his community, where he’s farm manager of his family’s plot. Samson sells his crops both in and out of his home Micro Community, Baba Nyumbani.
His talent isn’t limited to the farm, either. Samson finds joy in making the younger kids in the community happy — and he does it in an enterprising way. With a little handiwork, Samson turns scrap wires into toy cars for the children, and even clothes hangers too.
We’re cheering Samson on, and support his plans to attend an agriculture program in college.
